About EMU Bright Futures Programs
Currently, there are 20 Bright Futures programs located in schools in the Romulus, Wayne Westland, and Ypsilanti School Districts. Bright Futures programs take place after school for three hours Monday through Thursday, 32 weeks during the school year and 6 weeks in the summer.
Our Bright Futures team of dedicated educators work tirelessly to provide daily homework help, targeted academic assistance, mentoring and service-learning opportunities for at-risk youth. In addition, our students select from a rotating menu of clubs and activities which integrate and promote academic skills, personal development, and the smooth transition from elementary to middle and from middle to high school.
